Has anybody heard the Lib Dems talking about any policies over the past week? I certainly haven't.
It's a shame that in one of the rare times when they have the media's attention, they don't dare say anything.

That's why I vote for them.

Date: 2007-10-23 10:00 am (UTC)But since this is the only media exposure the party is likely to have for a while, shouldn't they be taking the chance to shout from the rooftops about *something*? Preferably something that will win them some supporters. But the closest they get is saying stuff like 'we have good policies on civil liberties', without saying what those policies are.
The upshot is that you look as though you don't have any policies, and you're just trolling for protest votes. Which I don't think is true - but only because of Lib Dems I know in person.
Don't you have a set of talking points to try and push into the media whenever you get a chance? And isn't one of the main criteria for being a good leader the ability to present the party platform so that people have some idea what you stand for?
