Perhaps I should have followed Rich's example, and kept llamas instead. But I doubt llama-bacon would taste quite the same.

It was officially an art studio, and he wanted us to pretend to be art students so that the neighbours and the government wouldn't realise there were people living there. So there was a stack of portfolios, and we all had to carry one every time we left the building.
